QVision 500 Analyzer

The QVision 500 Analyzer’s unique transflection technology sets a new standard for in-line analysis. Fat, moisture, protein and color can be measured in parallel with outstanding accuracy.

The quality of measurement is driven by:

  • Penetration far into the food product
  • Measuring width of 500 mm
  • Automatic reference calibration

Odenberg’s sister company, TITECH developed this scanning technology 15 years ago. Today over 2,000 Near Infrared scanners with the same core technology is in use all over the world. Over 400 customers rely on this technology to run large industrial plants.

Great effort has been made to design this product to meet the demanding requirements of the food industry. The result is a machine that can be trusted in all aspects. Durability and simplicity are key features of the QVision design.

The machine is hygienic and robust. It has no horizontal surfaces where water droplets can remain. The system is never in contact with the food. The design is open such that all surfaces easily can be visually inspected and accessed with high pressure water without disassembly.

Ease of use is another key feature. The machine is designed to be a working tool for the operator. It’s intuitive and key information is directly available on the self explanatory touch screen. Minimal training is required to use it.

Features & Benefits

  • Fast payback
  • Low operating cost
  • Batch report included
  • Recipe integration
  • Prepared for process control
  • Easy to integrate to IT systems

Detection Techniques

  • Patented transflection technology penetrates deep into the product. No issues with surface effects.
  • Machine vision sees the full 500 mm width and analyzes the food stream or food products. Size, position, fat and moisture distribution can be monitored.
  • The beltweigher option can in parallel supply both the mass flow, which is key when the system is used for both fresh and frozen foods.
  • The speed of analysis is unique. 25.000 individual scan points are analysed per second, meeting any demand for throughput capacity.
  • Extremely good signal to noise ratio spectrometer. NIR and optionally VIS detection.

Detection Techniques

  • Analyzes fresh and frozen product
  • Belt speeds up to 90 meters/minute
  • Up to 30 tons/hour capacity
