Separating Machines

Post peel equipment is the efficient method to ‘clean’ peeled product up after peeling. There are many choices depending upon the end product and process goals.

Starch and Peel Separator

Used after a steam peeler the SPS is not aggressive on the product and removes peel waste dry, without taking additional product flesh and without the use of water. The SPS delivers the highly efficient peel waste removal and can be used in place of a brusher without the flesh losses associated with brushers.

Brusher or Polisher

Used to aggressively brush the produce surface, the brusher can be used to remove skin and surface defects for appearance and quality. The Peel Scanner can also monitor brush speed, defects and control the time produce spends in the brusher.

Washer

Gentle agitation to remove unwanted material using a high percentage of recycled water to reduce the amount of water consumed.
